Alters are where someone changes the art of a card either by painting on a physical card or by digitally creating art for the card.

I've always been interested in buying/acquiring some of these as I think it's really cool to own a one of a kind piece of art and be able to use it as a playing piece in a game I enjoy.

In the past I've painted on cards once or twice and picked up the hobby again more recently. I'm not an artist by any means but have done lots of model (warhammer/3d printed) painting in the past and am able to use the paints and brushed from this to paint on the cards.

I'll use this page as a log of the cards I've painted and the products I've used when painting them. This isn't meant as a guide at all (but may change in the future), more as a place to display and remember.

I hope to someday get to the point where I am confident in altering "expensive" cards
